These terms govern your download, trial and use of LendaarMitra — GST 180-Day ITC Compliance ("the Software"), published by Opifex Labs. Installing or using the Software means you accept these terms and the End-User License Agreement shown during installation.
An active subscription includes all Software updates released during the subscription period and email support at hello@opifex.in. When the subscription lapses, the Software stops working until renewed; your data and outputs (Excel files it produced) remain yours and remain usable.
LendaarMitra reads ledger exports from a number of accounting packages. When it meets an export it cannot read, it asks you to send us a sample so we can add support for that format. This section governs those files. It is in addition to, not instead of, the Privacy Policy.
To add support for an accounting package we do not yet read, we ask you to send a sanitised sample of the ledger export. LendaarMitra includes a Ledger Sanitiser for this purpose: it replaces names, GSTINs, PAN, contact details and monetary figures with stand-ins while leaving the file's structure intact, so we can see the layout without seeing your client's affairs. We ask for two or three exports from different clients using the same software, because a single file does not show the variations we must handle.
We ask you to run the Sanitiser before sending, and to review its output first. The mapping between real names and stand-ins is written to a separate review workbook that stays on your machine; do not send it to us.
From a sanitised sample we retain only what is needed to build and keep supporting the parser for that format: the sanitised file itself, and a note of which accounting package and version produced it. We retain these for as long as LendaarMitra supports that format, because a parser that cannot be re-tested against the layout it was written for cannot be safely maintained.
We retain no raw file, no name mapping, and no client list. You may ask us to delete a sanitised sample at any time, and we will confirm when it is done.
We treat every file you send as confidential. We do not share it with any other customer, publish it, use it in marketing or demonstrations, or disclose that a particular firm or client uses a particular accounting package. Access is limited to the people building the parser.
Nothing you send is used to train a machine-learning model.
When we add support for a new format we say it will arrive in an upcoming release. We do not commit to a date or a turnaround, and no statement elsewhere in the product or on this site should be read as one.
Format support covers machine-readable exports produced by accounting software. It does not cover scanned documents, photographed pages, or spreadsheets maintained by hand — a hand-maintained spreadsheet has no stable format to support. If a file falls outside this scope we will say so rather than leave the request open.
You remain responsible for your confidentiality obligations to your client. Sanitising a file before sending it is how you meet them, and it is why the Sanitiser is part of the product rather than a service we perform for you. Please satisfy yourself that the sanitised output is safe to send before you send it — the Sanitiser prints its own honest limits, and its review workbook lists every string it left alone.
The Software processes your files locally on your computer. We never receive them, except for a sample you choose to send us under section 6. The limited personal data we do process is described in the Privacy Policy.
The Software, its design and branding are the property of Opifex Labs. You receive a license to use it, not ownership of it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Software is limited to the license fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data caused by hardware failure, other software, or misuse.
We may revoke a license without refund if these terms are materially breached (e.g., key sharing or attempts to defeat licensing). Refund-based revocations are covered by the Refund Policy.
